Domestic Landscaping Gallery
Brooklyn
This project was completed on 30 September 2012 and involved the demolition of an existing small deck and the replacement with a cantilevered deck structure supported by a new concrete block wall and timber piles. All fastenings are in stainless steel to ensure the structures long term durability.
Island Bay
This job was finished in August 2012 and involved clearing the existing back garden and forming new terraced levels to allow easy access around the section. Engineered retaining walls were required at the back of the house to support a large existing crib wall and form a platform for the neighbours shed. Planting and turfed lawns were the icing on the cake.
Whitby
This job was completed in July 2012 and involved renovation of existing landscape features and eliminating surface ponding issues which were causing damp related problems. Panelrok fencing was used to match the house textures and style.
Karori
Completed on 8/Sep/2011 The work involved levelling off an existing sloping lawn and forming areas suitable for al fresco dining and supervised play.
Khandallah
This makeover was prompted by moisture getting into the basement of the house and a general need to modernise the road frontage.
Two different concepts were developed in collaboration with the owners and a courtyard and new drive were decided on. Existing backfill against the house was dug out and the concrete wall was sealed and drains installed. Gas services were laid as part of the operation and existing water pipes were relaid.
Exposed aggregate concrete mixes were chosen for the courtyard (Taranaki Gold) and driveway (Woodville). The timber planter has been stained and is backfilled with a topsoil/compost mix.
